SUNRISE NATIONAL DISTRIBUTORS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

DISCLAIMER: Every effort has been made to eliminate errors in our price lists, catalog and literature prior to printing. However, we disclaim responsibility for any printing errors in pricing, specifications or applications. Sunrise expressly disclaims any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

 

LIABILITY: Products offered for sale by Sunrise are warranted by the manufacturer. Sunrise shall neither accept nor assume liability in connection with products covered only by the manufacturer’s limited warranty. It shall be the responsibility of the installer to determine suitability of each product for the intended use. The installer shall assume all risks and liability in connection with the installation of that product. Buyer shall indemnify and hold harmless, Sunrise and all employees, representatives or agents thereof against any and all liability to third parties, including but not limited to, in connection with the purchase, handling, installation, use or disposition of any manufacturer’s products.

 

WHOLESALE RETURN POLICY ON DEFECTS OR STOCK ITEMS: All sales are considered final. When returning a product for manufacturing defect, or returning a stocking item for credit, please obtain return authorization in the form of a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Number from the customer service department. The RGA number must be written on the packing slip. Products returned without an RGA Number will not receive credit. Sunrise will issue a merchandise credit (less restocking and processing fees) toward future purchases for authorized returns received in good, resalable condition.

You are responsible for the freight cost of returning warranty claims or stocking items to us. Stocking items are returnable provided they are in brand-new condition, in the original undamaged, unopened box with all packaging materials intact.

Returns, other than warranty issues or errors in shipment, are subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee. Due to age of order, purchase history or return history, returns may also be subject to a processing fee or denied. Special ordered goods, merchandise discontinued by Sunrise or the manufacturer, and products purchased more than 30 days ago are non-returnable.

 

TERMS OF SALE: Sunrise’s terms are Cash/Certified Check, COD Company Check, or major credit card, unless Open Credit has been established for the buyer and approved by Sunrise. Sunrise accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.  To establish an account, an original copy of Sunrise’s “New Customer Information and Application for Credit or Check Acceptance” form must be submitted and properly completed. Processing may take two to four weeks or longer. All orders will be shipped Cash/Certified Check, COD Company Check, or Credit Card unless Open Account Credit has been established. You will be notified by our credit department of your Customer ID Account Number, credit status and terms of payment after processing. Sunrise reserves the right to refuse a request for credit, remove a customer from Open Account and/or discontinue services if deemed necessary.  Returned Checks: If a check is returned unpaid, the account will be placed on Credit Hold until paid. There will be a $25 NSF fee applied to the account for each returned check.

       

 

SPECIAL ORDERS/DROP SHIPMENTS: Any item Sunrise does not stock is a special order. We will gladly place your special order according to the following guidelines:

  1. In advance of placing your special order, pre-payment using a major credit card or receipt of your good business check is required. Sunrise suggests you get a deposit from your customer to cover your cost.
  2. Once the special order is placed, it is non-cancelable and non-returnable at any time.
  3. Special orders are subject to a special order handling charge from Sunrise and all freight and handling charges per the manufacturer.

 

FREIGHT POLICY: Sunrise ships via Sunrise Truck, UPS, and Common Carrier. Please discuss the best available method and cost for your business with your Customer Service Representative.

 

WAREHOUSE SAME-DAY PICK UP: Orders for warehouse pickup must be called in at least one hour prior to pick-up. Warehouse hours for pick-up are Monday thru Friday, 10:00 am until 5:30 pm.

 

FREIGHT DAMAGE OR SHORTAGE CLAIMS: All merchandise comes factory-inspected and sealed with all USA warranties in place. Your package is handled with pride and care. If you have a shortage, please notify our Customer Service Department immediately, along with the shipping carrier, upon receipt of the goods.

 

WARRANTY: All goods are warranted to the extent of the manufacturer’s warranty only. Sunrise expressly disclaims any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Sunrise will process manufacturing defect warranty claims for you and issue credit as the manufacturer issues it to Sunrise. The manufacturer is the sole judge of all warranties. Paint charges or labor charges to remove and re-install any defect product is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
